- This standard specifies methods for the determination of lead isotope composition in various rocks and minerals. This standard is applicable to the determination of lead isotope composition in various common single mineral samples such as sulfides, oxides, arsenides, sulfates, carbonates, and silicates. It is also suitable for the determination of lead isotope composition of non-uranium-rich rock whole rock samples such as general volcanic rocks, metamorphic rocks and sedimentary rocks.
