- Scope
- This standard specifies the method for determination of chemical oxygen demand by the acidic permanganate oxidation method. This standard is applicable to the determination of chemical oxygen demand in groundwater that is not polluted or slightly polluted and has a chloride ion content not exceeding 300 mg/L. The measurement results are expressed as oxygen mass concentration. The measurement range is 0.4~4mg/L.
