This standard specifies the method for the spectrophotometric determination of nitrate radicals using phenol disulfonate. This standard is applicable to the determination of nitrate content in groundwater. The minimum detection volume is 20ug, and the optimal measurement range is 0.8~20mg/L. Chloride ions in water can cause negative interference, and nitrite can cause positive interference. Under normal circumstances, if the chloride ion concentration is less than 30 mg/L, and the nitrite concentration is less than 0.2 mg/L, separation is not required. When the concentration exceeds the above, it needs to be treated separately.
