This standard specifies the method for the determination of iodide by catalytic reduction. This standard applies to the determination of iodide in groundwater. The minimum detection volume is 0.0lug, and the optimal measurement range is 1~16ug/L. When the water contains reducing substances, it will cause a positive error; when it contains oxidizing substances, it will cause a negative error. It will not interfere with the determination if the iron content in the water sample is less than 1 mg/L and the hexavalent chromium is less than 3 mg/L.
