- This standard specifies the definition, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, as well as signs, labels, instructions for use, packaging, transportation, and storage of high-voltage dielectric loss testers (hereinafter referred to as dielectric loss meters) that use digital measurement technology to automatically measure. This standard applies to the production, inspection, use and maintenance of dielectric loss meters, and also applies to insulating oil loss testers.
