Scope
This standard specifies the ion chromatography method for the determination of trace anions - fluoride ion (Fˉ), acetate ion (CHCOOˉ), formate ion (HCOOˉ), chloride ion (Clˉ), nitrite ion ( NOˉ), nitrate ion (NOˉ), phosphate ion (POˉ) and sulfate ion (SOˉ). Use a large-volume sample quantitative loop (such as 1mL) to directly inject the sample or pre-concentrate the water sample with a concentration column to determine the trace (μg/L) level of the above anions in water and steam. Using a small volume sample quantitative loop (such as 10 μL) or diluting the water sample can be used to measure the above-mentioned anions in trace amounts (mg/L) in water. This standard is applicable to the determination of anions in water samples such as boiler feed water, condensate water, steam and furnace water. The determination of anions in water and steam of nuclear power plants can refer to this standard.
