This standard specifies the terminology, classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, transportation and storage of 222nm far ultraviolet excimer sterilizers (hereinafter referred to as sterilizers); it also proposes environmental storage tests, reliability life tests, and work cycles. Requirements for reliability indicators such as life test, test methods for indicator parameters of excimer sterilizers, product delivery tests and routine test inspection rules, as well as informative explanations on the research progress of far ultraviolet photons that are friendly to the human body.
