This standard specifies the method for the determination of molybdenum by catalytic polarography. This standard is applicable to the determination of molybdenum in groundwater. The minimum detection volume is 0.OOlug, and its measurement range is 0.1~40ug/L. Generally, coexisting elements in water do not interfere with the determination. When iron >700ug and manganese >150ug, it will affect the determination of molybdenum; the presence of tungsten and tin will also reduce the catalytic wave of molybdenum. However, the content of these elements in water is very small and does not reach the level of interference. Generally, they can be measured directly without separation.
