This standard specifies the method for the determination of cadmium by catalytic polarography. This standard applies to the determination of cadmium in groundwater. The minimum detection volume is 0.05ug, and its measurement range is 0.5~400ug/L. Most of the coexisting elements do not interfere with the determination. Only when the ratio of lead to cadmium is greater than 150:1 will it cause a negative value for cadmium. Add ethylenediamine to the solution to precipitate elements such as iron and titanium.
