- This standard specifies the preparation method of combined specimens for testing dry heat dimensional changes, peeling strength, and appearance and dimensional changes after washing or dry cleaning of hot-melt adhesive linings. This standard is applicable to the preparation of combined samples for various tests on hot-melt adhesive interlinings of various cotton and chemical fiber pure textiles, blended woven fabrics, knitted fabrics and nonwovens for clothing. This standard does not apply to fusible interlining fabrics made of non-hot melt adhesive coatings.
