Scope

The standard stipulates the chemical composition, mechanical properties, test methods and acceptance rules of K417 alloy. This standard applies to K417 alloy ingots smelted and cast in vacuum induction furnaces. This alloy is suitable for making turbine blades and other parts that withstand high temperatures in gas turbine engines that operate at around 900°C.
