Scope

This standard specifies the chemical composition, mechanical properties, test methods and acceptance rules of K401 alloy. This standard applies to K401 alloy ingots smelted and cast in vacuum induction furnaces. This alloy is suitable for making guide vanes and other high-temperature static components of gas turbine engines that operate below 900°C.
