Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for the design, manufacturing, assembly, testing and acceptance of hook-type pull quick release locks (hereinafter referred to as locks). This standard is applicable to locks used in large aircraft hatches, hatches (aircraft engine cowl hatches and reverse thrust fan covers) in environments ranging from -55 to 250°C.
