Scope: This specification stipulates the general requirements and basic basis that should be followed in the design, development, production, delivery and acceptance of the explosion and non-explosion control mechanism (hereinafter referred to as the explosion control mechanism) of aerial bombs that operate mechanical fuze insurance (hereinafter referred to as bombs). This specification applies to explosion control mechanisms that use pull-off and shear-type explosion control levers to operate bomb fuze fuses and other fuses. It is also suitable for other lever-operated bomb fuze safety and other safety explosion control mechanisms. If the requirements of this specification are inconsistent with the requirements of the contract (or technical agreement), the requirements of the contract (or technical agreement) shall prevail.
