Scope
This standard specifies the icing test conditions and test methods for airborne equipment of civil aircraft and is part of the series of standards "Environmental Conditions and Test Methods for Airborne Equipment of Civil Aircraft". This standard applies to equipment affected by icing (frost) on civil aircraft. The main effects are: a. The effects of ice or frost adhering to the outside of the equipment. b.
