Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and packaging requirements for machine and hand taps for processing HB6545 interference threads (hereinafter referred to as interference thread taps). This standard is applicable to machine and hand taps for processing AG, BG, CG and DG interference threads listed in HB6545, with nominal diameter d=3~45mm and pitch P=0.5~1.5mm.
