This standard applies to fatigue performance testing of materials. In order to provide more accurate and reliable data and ensure the "comparability" and "reproducibility" of test results, this standard proposes several test methods and data processing methods based on the principles of mathematical statistics. According to certain confidence and error requirements, the criteria for determining the minimum number of samples are given. When performing statistical analyses, it was assumed that the logarithmic fatigue life follows a normal distribution.
