Scope

This standard specifies technical requirements such as chemical composition and mechanical properties of DZ22B alloy ingots, as well as inspection rules and test methods. This standard applies to DZ22B alloy ingots smelted and cast in vacuum induction furnaces. This alloy is suitable for making directional solidification turbine blades, turbine guide blades and other high-temperature parts in gas turbine engines that can withstand temperatures below 1,000°C.
