- This standard specifies test equipment and test methods for measuring reproducible and comparable noise data inside various aircraft. Aircraft internal noise refers to the noise in each cabin of the aircraft, including the passenger cabin, cockpit, equipment cabin and cargo hold. This standard applies to noise measurements in aircraft conditions to determine whether the internal noise of the aircraft exceeds the maximum noise regulations or meets the noise standard requirements, noise exposure assessment for hearing protection, and speech interference assessment.
