Scope
1.1 This procedure is applicable to the electrostatic grounding design of chemical enterprises and factories. 1.2 The anti-static design of chemical enterprises should be comprehensively considered by the cooperation of processes, piping, equipment, electrical and other majors, and the following measures to prevent electrostatic hazards should be taken. (1) Minimize the generation of static charges during the production process; (2) Leakage and conduction of static charges; (3) Neutralize the static charges accumulated on objects; (4) Shield statically charged objects; (5) Keep the inside and outside of objects The surface is smooth and without edges. 1.3 The main function of electrostatic grounding is to leak and conduct electrostatic charges on charged objects. The electrical grounding connection system is an important link in electrostatic grounding. 1.4 This regulation specifies the technical requirements for the design of electrostatic grounding connection systems in chemical enterprises. However, only principle provisions are made on measures to increase leakage, standing time, air humidification and floor conductivity. 1.5 For the calculation of the grounding resistance of the electrostatic grounding body, please refer to GBJ 65-83 "Code for Grounding Design of Industrial and Civilian Electric Power Devices".
