Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for the design, manufacture, use, testing, marking and installation of mechanical seals for glass-lined pumps. This standard is applicable to mechanical seals for glass-lined pumps with a working pressure in the seal cavity of 0 to 0.3 MPa, an operating temperature of 0 to 70°C, a rotational speed of the rotating shaft not exceeding 3000r/min, and a shaft diameter of 30-80 mm.
