- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, instrument structure, technical requirements, test methods, etc. of laser confocal Raman microscope spectrometer. This standard applies to dispersive confocal Raman microscopic spectrometers (hereinafter referred to as instruments) that use continuous lasers as excitation light sources and have single-stage, secondary or tertiary spectrometers. This standard does not apply to non-dispersive Raman spectrometers such as Fourier transform Raman spectrometers and Raman spectrometers based on pulsed laser light sources.
