- Scope
- This standard specifies the routine determination method for non-volatile substances in liquid phenolic resins (resol phenolic resin, novolac resin solution, etc.). For use in commercial products or resins at all stages of the production process. Note: For phenolic resin, "non-volatile matter" is based on the arbitration test conditions (see Note 1 of 4.2). Results obtained by this method may be inconsistent with test results obtained in industrial applications of resins.
