- This standard specifies two methods for determining the coefficient of static friction and the coefficient of dynamic friction between vulcanized rubber and sheets. Method A is suitable for the determination of the surface friction coefficient of vulcanized rubber samples. Method B is suitable for the determination of friction coefficient during repeated friction of vulcanized rubber samples used in conveyor wheels of copy machines, fax machines, etc.
