Scope

This standard specifies a laboratory method for determining the scale inhibition performance of water treatment chemicals in inhibiting the precipitation of calcium carbonate scale using the bubbling method. In principle, this standard is also applicable to the determination of the scale inhibition performance of water treatment chemicals in inhibiting the precipitation of strontium carbonate or barium carbonate scale.
