- This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of industrial basic chromium sulfate. This standard applies to industrial basic chromium sulfate (also known as basic chromium sulfate and chromium salt essence) prepared by acidification of sodium dichromate or chromium-containing by-products with sulfuric acid or sodium bisulfate and reduction.
