Scope

This standard specifies methods for determining the tensile strength and elongation at break of rubber or plastic coated fabrics. This standard is applicable to the determination of tensile strength and elongation at break of dry or wet specimens of rubber or plastic-coated fabric strips. This standard does not apply to coated fabrics with mesh and knitted fabrics as the base fabric.
