Scope

This standard specifies a method for determining the thickness of rubber or plastic-coated fabrics (irrespective of the type of backing used) under specified pressure. This standard applies to single-sided coating, double-sided coating and sandwich double-structure coated fabrics, as well as materials with an expansion layer sandwiched between the coating layers.
