- Scope
- This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, product marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements for adhesive RS. This standard applies to resorcin donor adhesives prepared by melting resorcin and stearic acid. This adhesive is combined with a methine donor adhesive for bonding rubber to skeleton materials. Here, skeleton materials include brass-plated or galvanized steel cords, steel wire ropes and metal plates, as well as nylon, Cords or fabrics such as polyester, vinylon, viscose, fiberglass or cotton.
