This standard specifies the iodometry method for the determination of sulfide in water and wastewater. The sulfide specified in this standard refers to the general term for soluble inorganic sulfide and acid-soluble metal sulfide in water and wastewater. This standard applies to the determination of sulfide in water and wastewater. When the sample volume is 200ml and titrated with 0.01mol/L sodium thiosulfate solution, this method is suitable for the determination of water and wastewater containing sulfide above 0.40mg/L.
