- This standard specifies the requirements, sampling, test methods, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of industrial chromium trioxide. This standard applies to industrial chromium trioxide (also known as chromium oxide green) produced by thermal decomposition and reduction methods. This product is mainly used as a colorant for ceramics, enamel, and glass, and is also used in the preparation of polishing pastes, paints, pigments, and chromium catalysts for organic synthesis.
