- This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, storage, transportation, etc. of acrylic varnish. This standard applies to acrylic varnishes for decoration and protection of anodized aluminum alloy or other metal surfaces. Acrylic varnishes specified in this standard are divided into two types. Type I product: It is prepared by dissolving methacrylate-methacrylic acid copolymer resin in an organic mixed solvent and adding an appropriate amount of additives. Type II product: It is prepared by dissolving methacrylate-methacrylic acid copolymer resin and amino resin in an organic mixed solvent, and adding an appropriate amount of additives.
