Scope
This standard specifies methods for analyzing the chemical components of ammonia synthesis catalysts. This standard applies to total iron (Fe), the ratio of ferrous iron to ferric iron (Fe+/Fe+), potassium oxide (KO), calcium chloride (CaO), and magnesium oxide in ammonia synthesis catalysts and other catalysts with the same components. Determination of (MgO), aluminum oxide (AlO), silicon dioxide (SiO), titanium dioxide (TiO), phosphorus (P), barium oxide (BaO), and cobalt tetroxide (CoO).
