This standard specifies a method for the determination of chemical oxygen demand in high-chlorine wastewater. This method is suitable for the determination of chemical oxygen demand (COD) in oil and gas fields and refining and chemical enterprises with chloride ion content up to tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of milligrams per liter of chlorine wastewater. The lowest detection limit of the method is 0.20 mg/L, and the upper limit of determination is 62.5 mg/L.
