This standard applies to: a. Containers with a design pressure greater than or equal to 0.1MPa and less than 100MPa; b. Containers with a vacuum degree greater than or equal to 0.02MPa. The design temperature applicable to this standard should be lower than the corresponding temperature where the creep of steel controls its allowable stress intensity. Scope of Inapplicability This standard does not apply to the following types of containers: a. Containers in nuclear energy installations; b. Integrated or as components in rotating or reciprocating mechanical equipment (such as pumps, compressors, turbines, hydraulic steel, etc.) Pressure chamber; c. Frequently transported containers; d. Containers of any length whose inner diameter (for non-circular cross-sections, refers to width, height or diagonal) is less than 150mm.
