- This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, storage, etc. of various colors of perchlorethylene putty. This standard applies to reeds prepared from perchlorethylene resin, plasticizers, various pigments, extender pigments, esters, ketones, aromatic hydrocarbons and other mixed solvents. This putty dries quickly and is mainly used to fill steel or wooden surfaces such as vehicles, machine tools, etc. that have been coated with alkyd primer or perchlorethylene primer.
