- This standard specifies the product classification, materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging and storage of diaphragm pressure gauges (hereinafter referred to as instruments). This standard applies to pressure gauges, vacuum gauges and pressure and vacuum gauges that use metal diaphragms as measuring elements.
