Scope: This standard is applicable to AC high-voltage circuit breakers, isolating switches, load switches, grounding switches, sectionalizers, reclosers, contactors, and metal-enclosed switches with a rated voltage of 3.6kV and above and an operating frequency of 50Hz used in humid tropical areas. High-voltage switchgear such as equipment, gas-insulated enclosed switchgear, combined electrical appliances and their operating mechanisms. This standard also applies to AC high-voltage fuses and high-voltage/low-voltage prefabricated substations. In addition to complying with this standard, the high-voltage electrical appliances covered by this standard should also comply with the provisions of the corresponding standards for the normal use conditions of the product.
