1.0.1 In order to effectively control the scaling, dirt and corrosion caused by circulating cooling water, ensure the heat exchange efficiency and service life of the equipment, and make the circulating cooling water treatment design of chemical enterprises reach a technologically advanced and economically reasonable level, these regulations are formulated. 1.0.2 These regulations apply to the design of circulating cooling water treatment for indirect heat exchange in new construction, expansion, and reconstruction projects of chemical enterprises. 1.0.3 The design of circulating cooling water treatment in chemical enterprises should meet the requirements of safe production, environmental protection, energy conservation and water conservation, and facilitate construction, maintenance and operation management. 1.0.4 The design of circulating cooling water treatment in chemical enterprises should be based on domestic technical conditions and chemical supply conditions, learn from advanced domestic and foreign experience, and actively adopt new technologies. 1.0.5 The design of circulating cooling water treatment for chemical enterprises, in addition to complying with these regulations, should also comply with current relevant national standards and specifications and chemical industry standards and specifications.
