Scope

This standard specifies a gas-liquid separation collection spectrophotometric method for the determination of total cyanide in water and soil. This standard is applicable to the determination of total cyanide in surface water, groundwater, domestic sewage, industrial wastewater and soil. The detection limit of total cyanide in water is 0.003mg/L, and the lower limit of determination is 0.012mg/L. When the soil sample amount is 2.50g, the detection limit of this method is 0.04mg/k, and the lower limit of determination is 0.16mg/kg.
