Scope

This standard specifies the test conditions and test methods for the salt removal rate and water flux of hollow fiber reverse osmosis membranes. This standard is applicable to the testing of hollow fiber reverse osmosis membranes whose feed water is tap water, brackish water and sea water. It can also be used for the separation test of other aqueous solutions that will not damage the hollow fiber reverse osmosis membrane.
