Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, instructions for use, packaging, transportation, storage, etc. of indoor and outdoor explosion-proof and anti-corrosion low-voltage electrical appliances. This standard applies to electrical appliances used in indoor and outdoor explosion hazardous locations where explosive gas mixtures and corrosive media exist. This standard does not apply to electrical appliances used in explosion hazardous locations where explosive dust exists.
