- This standard specifies the type and size, technical requirements, inspection rules, packaging and marking of RAA type (coil spring) and DKE type (tension spring) brush holders (hereinafter referred to as brush holders). It also specifies the brush holders equipped with collector rings. Main dimensions and related requirements. This standard applies to brush holders and collector rings for lifting metallurgical motors. The open circuit voltage of the rotor winding: for reversible motors, is not greater than 660V; for irreversible motors, is not greater than 1320V. Other types of wound rotor motors can also be used as reference.
