- This standard refers to the draft international standard ISO/DIS9181 "Punch Dies - Cone Head Reducing Rod Punch". This standard specifies the dimensions, materials, hardness and markings of 60° tapered rod round punches with a rod diameter D ranging from 2 to 3 mm. The round punch specified in this standard is mainly used for punching steel plates, but can also be used for punching other materials.
