- This standard specifies the parameters of gear shaping machines. This standard is applicable to newly designed vertical gear shaper machines with a longitudinal layout in which the maximum workpiece diameter is 200 to 31500 mm and processed with a disc shaper cutter, with the tool guide and the workbench (or column) moving radially.
