This standard specifies the sampling, sample preparation, and enzyme-linked immunoassay methods for chloramphenicol residues in imported and exported animal-derived foods. This standard is applicable to the screening test for chloramphenicol residues in imported and exported chicken, pork, shrimp and casings. Positive results must be confirmed by other methods.
