- This standard specifies the series, marking type, basic dimensions, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules of piston mechanical brakes for vertical hydroelectric generators. The brake specified in this standard has two functions: braking and lifting. This standard applies to vertical turbine generators with requirements for braking and jacking up the rotating parts. For bulb-type hydrogenerators that have no jacking function requirements and no locking mechanism, but require forced braking to stop, you can refer to this. All matters not specified in this standard shall comply with the relevant provisions in GB/T 7894.
