- This standard specifies the type and basic dimensions of the threaded spindle end. This standard applies to the threaded spindle end of instrument lathes. The internal type and basic dimensions of the short tapered spindle end should also be used with reference. Note: The external type and basic dimensions of the short-vertebral spindle end of instrument lathes are in accordance with GB/T 5900.
