Scope

This standard specifies the terminology, technical requirements, inspection rules and methods, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of dry cast iron cylinder liners for internal combustion engines. This standard applies to dry cast iron cylinder liners (hereinafter referred to as cylinder liners) for reciprocating piston internal combustion engines with a cylinder diameter less than or equal to 150mm.
