- This standard specifies the series composition, use, performance and structural characteristics, varieties and parameters of instrument lathes. This standard is applicable to newly designed instrument horizontal lathes, finishing lathes, instrument axis lathes and instrument chuck lathes with a maximum rotation diameter of 250mm and a maximum workpiece length of 500mm.
